What Dellingr won't do

We don't spend our time on a feature-by-feature table against everyone else — you can read those on TechRadar. Here's the contract we hold ourselves to. The principles we build behind, and the lines we won't cross even when they'd make the business easier.

We don't take a cut on your sales.

Per-customer Stripe Connect means your buyers pay you direct. The Dellingr subscription is the whole cost — there is no platform fee on top, no transaction percentage, no payments-product upsell. We literally cannot touch your money: it never lands in a Dellingr account, only yours.

We don't lock your code to our platform.

Static sites export as a clean zip. Web apps live in a private GitHub repo we create for you, and you can transfer ownership to your own GitHub account in one click. If Dellingr disappeared tomorrow, your site keeps running.

We don't disappear after launch.

Monthly SEO audits, thank-you emails on every Stripe sale, hourly booking-inbox sweeps, monthly stale-content reviews, ad-copy kits on demand. The AI Business Partner runs on a schedule, in your voice, on the live site — toggleable per workflow.

We don't hide what we cost.

Per-action pricing in real dollar figures, shown before you click. No opaque credit consumption, no slot-machine spend. Bring your own Anthropic key if you'd rather pay Anthropic direct — Billing tab has the toggle, no hidden mark-up.

We don't pretend our limits don't exist.

Drag-and-drop visual editor: not on the roadmap (chat is the editor by design). Native mobile-app generation: not yet, web-only. Multilingual sites: not yet. Restaurant POS / hotel bookings / industry-vertical SaaS out of the box: not in the five templates. We name these on /docs and /roadmap rather than burying them.

We don't ship sites that fail mobile.

Every build is mobile-first generation with a Lighthouse audit gate on deploy. Cloudflare Pages hosting means unmetered egress and sub-200ms first paint on every customer site, on every customer's custom domain.

We don't take liberties with your brief.

Upload PDF, Markdown, or plain-text docs and the brief generator reads them end-to-end as source of truth. If you tell us "no team page, no testimonials" in the build-spec field, those sections get dropped — every agent honours user notes as load-bearing instruction.

We don't gate refunds.

Failed tasks refund automatically. Subscriptions cancel with access until end of billing period. Soft-deleted companies are restorable for seven days. Stripe Buy buttons that fail to wire roll back the model-action charge on the partial-substitution path.

The things you get that aren't on a feature checklist

These don't fit in a comparison column. They're the shape of the product more than items on a list.

Real code, real repo, real ownership

Per-build private GitHub repo. Per-build Supabase project (web apps). Per-build Cloudflare Pages project. All transferable. The escape velocity is built in, not bolted on.

Trademark + name + domain clearance

ASIC business names (Australia), IP Australia, USPTO, EUIPO trademarks, plus the major TLDs and a web sweep — checked in parallel before you commit to a name. Green / amber / red risk report in minutes.

Founder docs that ship with the site

One-page pitch, business plan, investor update, FAQ — generated from the same source-of-truth brief that built your site, so the language doesn't drift across surfaces.

EXIF-stripped image library

Privacy by default on every photo upload. Geotags, camera serials, and originating timestamps stripped before the image becomes a site asset.

Per-chat-turn snapshot + inline ↩ Undo

Every destructive edit auto-snapshots. Every assistant reply has an Undo button next to it. Restoring a snapshot also snapshots first — your undo is itself undoable.

Deterministic edit tools, free of model-action cost

Edit nav and footer links, head meta, custom CSS, repair anchors, regenerate sitemap — all run without a Sonnet call. The model is the executor, not the toll booth.

When you should pick something else

Naming what Dellingr isn't for is part of the contract. If your need is one of these, another tool will serve you better and we'd rather you know now.

  • You want a drag-and-drop visual editor. Chat is our editor. Drag-drop isn't on the roadmap — we don't want two edit paths with different invariants.
  • You want a 2,000-template gallery to browse. We have five production templates, each fully wired. If template-shopping is the experience you want, a traditional site builder is the right fit.
  • You want native multilingual sites out of the box. Not yet. On the roadmap, not shipped.
  • You want a native mobile app. Dellingr is web-only. Look elsewhere for React Native / Expo generation.
  • You need restaurant POS, hotel bookings, or vertical SaaS out of the box. Our five templates cover the common ground, not every niche. Vertical SaaS platforms with category-specific apps are a better fit.
